I am a nurse. My bother and sister used to play in a band, and I went to go see them play. I went into this scary bar in Northern Michigan/ the Michigan militia used to hang out there. As you went in to the bar, there was a big sign that instructed you to leave your knives and guns in your truck.Anyway, I went to go into the bathroom, and this guy looked like he was having sex with this woman, she was sitting on the sink, with him standing between her legs. When i saw them , I said excuse me and went to go out, he looked up with terrified eyes and stepped back, as he did the woman fell forward onto the other sink. She was blue. I rushed forward to catch her before her head hit the sink. I asked him what was going on. He said,she stopped breathing, and he was trying to do CPR. Then a man and another woman, appeared in the other stall. So I ordered the men to get the woman on the floor and I sent the other woman to call for an ambulance. I started doing CPR, I did it for over 18 minutes before the ambulance got there. The woman was sitting up on her own as they took her from the bar. When I got back to my table, the entire top was filled with different drinks.

My friend and I were heading down to another friend's place in Virginia Beach one year. He drove to my house from Jersey, and we hung out, went to Wal-Mart and acted stupid, cruised through a new car dealers show and checked out all the new model cars, instead of getting some sleep. We watched Tv and finally just decided to get on the road without sleeping at like 3:30 am.

Just south of Baltimore, about halfway to DC, I swerve because there is a guy with blood on his face walking in the highway, and the wheel and axle from a truck sitting in my lane. There is a minivan laying on its front (the wheel and axle were from it) in the slow and second lane. We pull over and there is another car up in the tress on the side of 95. I bust out my cell and call 911, having an annoying conversation about what county I am in. I told her the mile marker and like how do I know what county I am in? Anyway....

There were like six people in the Buick in the trees, one is a diabetic kid with a nasty cut on his leg. We get him stabilized, cover him with my sleeping bag as he is cold from blood loss, and even used my belt to apply pressure to the leg. I hung with that kid, checked on other family members (there was an older woman in the car still, but we didn't want to move her, the kid had gotten out on his own), and generally tried ot keep people calm, telling them about how great the paramedics and docs were in Maryland. They were from NY. I'm there, no clue how long, and the fire and cops show up, but they don't clear me out. Everyone else is asked ot move away, But I stayed there with that kid, talking to him, reassuring him. A medevac chopper came in, airlifted one of the other passengers, but since a hosptial was close, they took the kid out on an ambulance, and I briefed the paramedics in on his condition and history.

I'll never know what happened or if my actions in any way saved a life, but damn, I will remember that always. This was a good 10-12 years ago now, and I remember it as if it was right in front of my house tonight.

well I was with Serch And Rescue and I had the opp to save a litle girl that was not only lost but had fallen off a clif and onto a 4 Ft ledge 33 feet below.

no but i haved saved an animals life be for

i was walking in the woods with my dad and i looked over at the lake we were walking by and i saw a half dead half drounding baby deer so i jumped in swam over to the fawn and grabed him
my dad helped me to get it on to land and he gave it CPR
and it helped a little we called the calafornia zoo to take it in and nerser it and we now visit the deer and give it a carrot now and then.

Saved their life? Once when I was in college, there was thins guy that was attempted to commit suicide. He was pretty psychotic and he tried to jump in the lake. My friend and I just held on to him and screamed for someone to help us. Eventually he attempted to cut his throat and ended up in the hospital. He did eventually get better

lady getting on a subway with her infant in a stroller stroller wheels got caught between the platform and train doors closed train started to move and i snatched the kid out of the stroller before it was draged down the platfor and into the tracks

this is a true story me and my sister were at carls jr and i just got my life guard certifications and my sister started choking on her burger for like 3 min and so i did the heimlich on her i went thru it all perfectly...
"keep coughin!! YOU CALL 911 and come back!! keep coughing..." she stopped coughing so i put my fist above her navel and i was behind her doing the upward thrusts.. i was surprised at how fast the chunk of food shot out

Well, its not much, but when I was on vacation this little toddler was walking on the edge of a wall and he fell off near where I was standing and his head fell directly on my foot, which stopped him from hitting his head on the concrete.
