i am taking prescription pills for inflammation of tissues around the elbow. i took the pill this morning but i think when i swallowed it went down wrong. my throat is irriated and having hard time swallowing. is there something that would make it easier to swallow and not irritable without going to the doctor

I was biten about 30 times by small black ants yesterday and nothing is working to stop the itch. What is interesting is that only the bites on my feet itch, but that is enough, I can't handle any more than that. Currently I am using Calamine lotion as I have found it works best, but there are still some stubborn bites that just don't stop itching. What is the best thing out there to relieve the itch and reduce swelling that does not have to be applied immediately after the bite? I've tried deoterant in the past, and it seems to work pretty well, but what else it there?

my brother said not to put a splint on my toe..... but my toe doesnt hurt and now i can actually go upstairs without that much pain! doesnt a splint stop the movement so it can heal faster?

I recently reopened a large wound on my leg from slidding in softball. I have non-stick gauze pads, but they aren't quite large enough to cover the whole wound with one pad. Would saran wrap work ok, providing I dress the wound with bandages over it?

I put a band-aid on a bug bite and when I woke up the next morning and took off the band aid a patch of my skin can off with it- it was all tender around the area. I do not think I am allergic to band-aids because I just recently fell outside of my pool and needless to say I had many other band-aids on that night.

I put peroxide on it many times but it still look infected eventhough the skin just came off- I put neosporian on it and a brethable cloth swab on it instead of a band-aid- just to make sure.

I wake up this morning and now there is a huge red circle around it -like it is infected and the skin is tender.

I don't know why this happened or how to treat it- I am afraid that more of my skin is going to fall off! help!

Been getting pains and been havin to go to the loo alot its been going on for a month i saw a doc last month he said it was a stomacn bug and would clear but hey still got it,it comes and goes but is begining to be a real pain any idea what it might be? oh the pains like a sharp pain and i got a real bloated stomach

He got bit on his penis by either an ant or a mosquito, not sure which but now his penis is swollen and red and he wont stop scratching it due to it itching as well. I don't have any pain killers at home right now. She got both front paws in her back. I think its just a scratch that made the kind-of red lines above the skin, and I think the skin bronke a little. What do I do to prevent an infection and such?
