go to another doctor and get a second opinion, make sure to drink plenty of fluids like water and Gatorade. Stop drinking alcohol and stop smoking. Try to eat only veggies and fruit and a small piece of chicken , fish or meat with the veggies and add some rice with that. try not to eat any oil so cook the meat without oil or butter. Take care and hope you get better

Stomach bugs certainly shouldn't last a number of weeks. Clearly you are not bleeding or you would have mentioned that. I'd agree you need to return to the doctor for further investigation; in the meantime you need to collect data on what does and does not cause this pain to appear, get worse. You might even like to fast for a day to see what difference it makes; but take in plenty of fluids as a bad stomach can cause dehydration.

You may wish to have a look at an online diagnosis site to help you pin down the dtails of your complaint; but be wary these sites can increase your level of worry too. Good luck

Well, i'm alot older than you and these disgruntiling sounds of the stomach are not unfamiliar; not to me or alot of my family or friends. This condition seems to be alot more common than you or I would care to think. I'm not sure if it is in the water or the air or in the food, but it exsists, it it not a psychological disorder as some doctors would have you believe; it is very real infortunately. I think you have the best to look forward to is that with time , at best it seems to come and go, or for some it goes away almost complety. But just when you thought it was safe yo go outside---- BOOM. Need more thoughts, let me know.

Have you lost a lot of weight as well?
are your stools loose and do they have blood/mucus mixed in with them,
If you also feel tired and leathrgic you may have a serious digestive problem like IBS or Crohns Disease.
Keep a Diary of your daily weight and how many times and what comes out when you go to the toilet as this will help your Doctor give a better diagnosis.
DO NOT TAKE ANTI DIHORREAH TABLETS as these will just make things worse.
Try also eating Simple soft easily digestable foods for a few days like mashed potatoes and yoghurts/Milkshakes to ease the work your bowel has to do.
However Please Go Back to your Doctor ASAP as they will be the ones to give the best advise.

If your urine is a cocacola color then you could even have a kidney stone. That would be blood in your urine. How about thinking of apendicitis? Especially since you mentioned having a sharp pain.........please get a 2nd opinion from another doctor. They should have run tests on you if not an xray already. Go before you end up in the ER.

I have had the same problem for a couple months now. Two days ago I went to the hospital and found out it was my apendix and had it removed. I thought it was something to do with mt stomach too. Its probably worth going and getting an untrasound to see if thats the problem

Sounds like IBS. It might be caused by a food intolerance, or it might be stress related. If there's a lot of bloating, try cutting sugar out of your diet.

I would wonder about IBS. It's more common in women, but guys still get it. Go back to Gp as it could also be grumbling appendics. Hope you feel better soon.

Ouch. I went to the docs about that and demanded a second opinion. He said I was also ugly.
