Can anyone tell me a cream or solution to put on a big toe that has alot of pain to the touch. Doctor said it is Gout. Something to soothe the pain, and yet help with the gout. Plzzzz advise. Plzz be serious. tanx, ;0)

Diet wise: the website lists the high and moderately high purine foods you should avoid.

It could be an ingrown toenail. I had them on both of my big toes and it is very painful to the touch. If you let it get worse and worse it will start to bleed and puss. I know from experience. You have to go see another foot doctor to make sure they gave you the right diagnosis. If it is an ingrown toenail the podiatrist has to numb your toe with a needle and then basically rip half your nail off. I know it sounds really painful but you don't feel it and they don't let you look when they do it. They also do something to the toe so that you can never have another ingrown nail again. It is the only way to get rid of the pain trust me. I hope you don't have this. I hope this helps. :)

If the doctor didn't help you with this problem. Go see another doctor, because the cure is easy and many.
