Ok, I was cooking.
(Me + Cooking = Bad Idea)
And I didn't know what to do with the oil.
So, I went to throw it outside.
(I guess that's what most people do?)
And I had one hand on the handle, and the other one was too hot.
So I was opening the door.
And part of my index finger touched the pot and I was going to dropped it, but instead I held onto it and got it back up.
It's been a few hours and I've held it under cold water and put ointment stuff on it.
I think there's a blister on it with white clear liquid stuff inside.
Should I do anything else?
Or do I just leave it like this and wait to see what happens?
And if it pops or something, will it hurt?
And I'm 13 and I guess this is the first burn I've ever had.

I was in a bad accident yesterday about 7pm. I smashed into a guardrail doing about 50mph to a complete stop with the guardrail lodged into the passenger side. I was fortunate though, and I only had bruises on my knees & elbows, with minor body aches & pains, except in my chest/sternum area where it had hit into the custom steering wheel, which didn't have an airbag. It was amazing I lived.
I did not have insurance, and was in pretty good condition, considering the damage, so I did not have the paremedic take me to E.R.
I know sometimes you can damage the aoritc area, with a blow like that, and was worried about possible internal damage. I finallly went in the E.R. today, and they did the EKG. I wondered if I should have insisted on the CT scan. The results were good on the EKG, so is there any need to be concerned further? I cannot hardly do anything requiring physical stregnth from the chest area.

I was in a car wreck some 14 years ago... bits of glass eventually came out from above my left eye brow... i believe there is still a square of windscreen glass lodged in my head, sometimes it feels like it is finally going to split to reveal the glass.

Anyway i want to have it removed as there is a pronounced bump... A few years ago i asked the Doc about this, but she would not send me for an x-ray or take the matter any further. i will not attempt to remove the glass myself.. so how can i convince the doctor otherwise?

Thanks for any useful answers :-)

My Grandma (80yrs) is in a nursing home.
I went to visit her recently.
She recognized me immeadiately and introduced me to her nurses ( been 1 yr since she's seen me ( I live a long ways off)).
During the visit she kept saying the same thing over and over, like as if she had been forgetting that she allready told me that.
She repeated the same 6 minute dialog about 20 times.
I'm afraid she may be loosing her mind.
I went to her house and it smells moldy, in fact, You can see moldy looking stuff growing out between the wall and ceiling in her bedroom and kitchen.
Is it possible that mold could cause this type of symptom/behavior, and Is there any effective treatment that might help get her back to normal? (grandma is strong for an 80 year old lady).

P.S. I also have a worthless uncle (alcoholic) who has been living in that same house with her since he was born, and he thinks that he changed his older siblings diapers.
Could mold be causing his mental problem?

I am curious your experience using any anti-anxiety drug assuming you don't mind posting on a public form. I have tried xanax but it is too over whelming. I go to a new doctor in a new state in the morning and debating what to request. I have had tint 1/2 mg klonopins which didn't work good enough. I want a drug in the same family but nothing to sleepy feeling. Also I assume there is a different feeling from volume to xanax to klonopin etc. I once had a benzo theat started with "M" which worked perfect.

Anyway severe anxiety non constant is my dilema.

Please don't post go consult a doctor garbage as I want experience answers and most doctors havn't tried any meds so says my logic. Cheers
