STDs - January 2007

ok...I recently got busy with a guy this past weekend and I now have this big pimple like thing down there. i believe it's an ingrown hair because there is a hair in the middle of this pimple, but there is also two smaller like pimples in the same area. I'm hoping it;s not an STD. I know that the doctor would be the person to determine this. I do shave frequently down there and I know that I have used a dull blade the last 2-3 times I shaved down there and I'm wondering if this caused this as well as wearing tight undies and tight jeans can cause the chaff-like other two smaller pimples.

I told him we would have to use a condom from now on. 3 days later after no calls he broke up w/me via e-mail...my friends think he did this because he wants to find someone that may not know of his STD and he can forget a condom? Does this sound possible?

l am a woman,,aged 28.After a sexual intercourse with someone,l started having problems in my vagina,l would infact feel pain urinating,ichyness and l got a sudden rush around the lips of the vagina.l went to my doctor and a urintest was taken,indicating bacteria in the urin to which l was given antibiotics.l went back to take another test to see if l got any sexual diseases,but the urin was clear.l still have ichyness.what could it be??

Some say that the virus dies at once if is out of a host. Then how come people who recieved blood transfusion got infected from donated blood ? Shouldn't the virus dies fast in donated blood since it is out of a human body ?

i have had multiple testing for STDs in the last nine months, one rutine, one because of pregnancy and then another because my husband came up with gonorrhea. i havent had sexual contact with anyone but my husband in the past nine almost 10months and all my std tests have come up negative. now on my last one i came up positive for Herpes. how is that possible?? i know they say you can have a a desease and not have any symptoms but how is it possible that after having three negative testings for STDs and no sexual contact with no one other than my husband (who has also had negative testings for STDs except for gonorrhea which he did not transmit to me) that i come up positive with herpes?? could it be a misdiagnosis??? the doctor didnt do any further examination or counsling. all he said is that i shouldnt worry all it means is that i have developed the antibodies. i am 5 months pregnant and i know that there is a possibility of harming the baby and i do not want that ..someone plz help

I was told today that I had herpes HSV 2, right now it feel like its the end of the world because everyone says that the outbreaks come back in two months. Now for those with no outbreaks I just want to know if you take pills everyday and think about it everyday or do you just forget about and live life. Right now it governs my life because I'm new to the information so I don't know what to do should I tell friends and family and be looked upon like a black sheep? Did you tell everyone you got it or just a loved one? Also should I take pills right now even though I have no symptoms and for the rest of my life? I don't think I can afford it.

First of all there is no pain, no itchyness, and no burning when i pee. The tip of my penis is all red. Also there are small white spots on the top of the crown. And the tip is more rinckly/rough than it used to be. Sometimes it looks completely normal please help!!

Just got diagnosed with HSV 2 herpes and my first outbreak was very small just four little painless blisters. So I was wondering if I will get these every month or year. Also shouldn't my outbreak have been more severe or is the worst yet to come? I heard they get less and les frequent with time and also less severe and I was wondering if I will become symptomless with time since my first episode was mild? I am very scared to know what the future holds for and really think about marrying the first girl that will take me. Also can I still have a kid, no need for marriage if the girl doesn't want to but at least I'll have a kid to raise in the future. Thanks in advance. I feel so lonely now.

Okay.. so, this is /really/ embarassing, and very sickening (in fact, I did throw up). but I feel the need to ask, just to be sure.

our girl dog is in season, so naturally our boy has been going crazy, and humping everything in sight

i was asleep (no panties like always, because of the one tyra episode where they said its not good to wear them to bed), and woke up to our dog raping me (my guess is he was just doing his usual humping thing, but "slipped in" by accident). SO EMBARASSING, and so sickening!!!!! he is such a large dog, and i'm a rather petite girl so couldn't get him off in time. he... "finished".

is this something to really worry about, or will nothing come from it except disturbing memories?

Ok, say some blood or semen gets outside of the body and it is HIV positive.

How long would that amount of HIV be able to survive(exact time) before it dies and completely goes away?

Also, does go away, is that correct? Like I have heard that like HIV has been found in bodies from the 70's and stuff, so like even though the host is dead and there is like no blood anymore, then how is that HIV shown if it is supposed to die? How does it work?

you had chlamydia for about four years, but never got tested , could your pap smear be abnormal considering that this disease has done it's damage. I did not think so but considering four year something would have to be abnormal. my friend had it four about four years I thought that this disease was invisible , she did not have an std test done her pap showed up abnormal. even though she had no symptoms.

I was diagnosed with HPV back in October of last year. I had one wart and it cleared when I went for my follow up just this month, I told her that I've been doing research and that most facts are that I'll always have the virus. She said that HPV is so common that 3/4 peeps have it and don't eve know it. She told me just to use condoms and to be careful. No need to stress over it. She also told me to get the vaccine and my next appt is in April.

I've been sick and I heard that when you get sick and you're immune system is low you have an outbreak. True /not true?
I haven't had one since Last year...I know I'll always carry the virus, but not tell my partners...? I'm so confused on this virus. I know my immune system fights off the virus but, does it really? I expected to have an outbreak now that I'm sick and I haven't...thank god!

Advice?
