i have a great fiance and im 17 he is 21 and we are both clean
either of us have never had any infection or diease sexually
so could i of got a disesse from an ex last year and can it go un noticed with no symptoms

Not to scare you, but yes! Either one of you could have HIV, Herpes, HPV, or Chlamydia- maybe more- and not know it. Don't know.
HPV is detected by pap tests from the gyno, as is Chlamydia. There is a vaccine for HPV, btw. It's for girls only. Guys don't really need it. HIV you can test for easily and for free by going to the health department. Herpes isn't routinely screened for, although I think there is a blood test for it...

I am a drug & sexual health educator & I always advise sexual health checks. They really aren't that bad & there are sti's which people carry before becoming symptomatic. The main ones obviously Chlamydia, HIV & Herpes. Chlamydia is treatable & curable with a simple course of particular anti-biotics, untreated it can lead to serious complications (& discomfort) such as being unable to have children later on. Please always get checked when entering a relationship or if u ever have doubts.

yeah it can go to un-noticed if you don't get test for std then you can get it then pass on your fiance without knowing. YOu need go to check by doctor as soon as possible because some disease that will cause problem like you will never be able to have a baby or you might have hiv so sometime you don't feel any symptom of hiv till many years later. Dont be stupid and get it check it out please.
