STDs - November 2006

I know that Trich is a std (I've heard it called a nasty woman disease but men get it to). it is more common in pregnant women? How can you determine who gave it to who? I know what parasite it is caused by and hwo to prevent it and what medicine to get (it is called metronidazol, the generic to flagyl), but I just want to know how did this person exactly get it? I know std are transmitted by sex but how can that person determine who gave it to him because this is something that everybody needs to be checked for.

I just found out I have HPV, which I got from my Husband. My Husband has been unfaithful to me in the past which he was honest about (please, no need to tell me I'm stupid for staying with him) but he told me about his being unfaithful 18 months ago and I had a pap test a few months after and everything came back fine. Now I just had another one a year later and it came back that I have HPV. Is there any way this could be from when he cheated on me before and it just didn't show up in my last test or would he have had to cheat on me again within this year for it to come up positive? Thanks so much for your help!

Seriously, if you're a little drunk and buddy just sort of slids in there quite to your own surprise, what can you do? Deed is done. If two weeks later in the same conversation he tells you he would like to stop seeing you, and oh by the way, my ex has clymidia, so I may have it as well! Then when the test results were due from his check-up (which he had done FOUR days after he found out), he told you that there was nothing to worry about. Low and behold, an entire week later he calls you AT WORK to say "hey, I've got clymidia!!!" Cool...

So now that I have it...do you think I should have to pay the $50 on my perscription?

HIV can only survive outside the body for a few hours. The natural elements alone are enough to destroy the virus! So you would think that sense the virus is easily destroyed outside the body, they would be able to develop a medicine that could eliminate the virus easy! Hepititis B (which can also be classified as an STD sense it is commonly transmitted that way) can survive as long as weeks outside the body! I read an article (after searching through google) that a HIV positive man took 6 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar a day and it brought is viral load way down! so far down, that the doctor did not know for sure if he still had the virus or not! You can't believe everything you hear but Vinegar is powerful stuff! I could see how the vinegar could have an impact on the virus. But that is not known for sure.

I don't sleep around. This is the only relationship I had and I was stupid because I trusted him because he was such a health freak. Very clean but, then I find out he has been with many woman even after I asked him he said he was tested. But, this HPV is difficult to blame on men. But I've only been with him. Help!

August 31 I had PROTECTED sex. In sometime in September my penis started to get this umcomfortness in my penis and a mild burning sensation that bothered me and my pelvic was reallly sore. It lasted for like 2-3 weeks and then it went away. I went to the doctor because of that and he checked my pelvic and said nothing was wrong and told me to do a urine test i did he checked for Gonnrhea and Chlymidia and the test came back negative. Then in October my throat was really sore, and under my jaw was really sore. that lasted for like 1-2 weeks and went away and while i had that i had congestionand my underarms was sore. I went to the Doc again and he checked my underarms,throat and neck lymphs said nothing was swollen and drew blood to do a CBC the CBC came back normal. And currently my underams are still sore and my tongue has this white coating on it and it doesnt look like thrush at all. Im really scared that this may be H.I.V is it H.I.V or something totally diffrent. If so What?

If someone gets poked by an old used diabetes needle, and the diabetic has an STD, is it possible to transmit it to another person? Insulin is not injected intravenously and it's a very small needle, not used for drugs or drawing blood cause the cells would be too big and broken down...so would HIV or any other std be able to transfer that way?
