Seriously, if you're a little drunk and buddy just sort of slids in there quite to your own surprise, what can you do? Deed is done. If two weeks later in the same conversation he tells you he would like to stop seeing you, and oh by the way, my ex has clymidia, so I may have it as well! Then when the test results were due from his check-up (which he had done FOUR days after he found out), he told you that there was nothing to worry about. Low and behold, an entire week later he calls you AT WORK to say "hey, I've got clymidia!!!" Cool...

So now that I have it...do you think I should have to pay the $50 on my perscription?

From what you said, you may want to rethink your sexual behavior. No one should drink enough that they put themselves in someone else's control. That was your choice.

No one is responsible for the outcome of your behavior but you.

Pay for the medicine, be glad you can be cured this time! And consider that you could have gotten something deadly and/or incurable that would torment you the rest of your life!

You need to take better care of yourself and that means using more discretion in sexual partners and not drinking so much that you are not in control. Get help if you need it for a drinking problem.

Best Wishes,

Sue

Well as responsible as you are for your own behavior, what he did can definitely be considered 'date rape'. Any sex without ability to consent is considered a violation and sadly this happens too often. Unfortunately it is just as often 'brushed off'.

I guess if you really wanted to you could ask him whether he would rather pay $50 for your prescription or have rape charges filed against him.

I dont think I would wait around for him to pay anything..... I thought the clinic did this stuff for free? Well regardless he probably wont pay there is no way to make him so suck it up and do it yourself Dont rely on someone else. Look how far it got you when having sex! Good Luck!

He may be a scumbag, but you are responsible for protecting yourself. If he was able to "slide in there," you were more than "a little drunk." Live and learn.

No, you are responsible for your own actions, even when you're drunk.
