ok, about myself about sun exposure.. I rarely go in the sun, im either working or school and this summer I decided to get a tan, which is a first for me in a sense, cause I go out, but I rarely go out to get a tan is what I mean.. so instead of going out in the sun I decided to give indoor tanning a try, so far ive gone 6 times, starting at 8 mins and moving up each time 2 mins and have stayed at 15mins on a regular bed.

I understand there are dangers from UVA/UVB rays and instead of getting bashed here about cancer and leather skin, this is my question ..

Are the chances high that I will get any of the negative effects from it or worse from going a handfull times this summer and get a nice tan this summer and then just STOP and not continue.

I come on here and search and then get very scared from a lot of the repies and I am not saying they are wrong at all but what im asking here (above) are the chances very high, high, mild or what.

I got poison oak at the beach (I think), and it covered the front half of my body, mainly in my torso area. Now, two weeks later and five days of prednisone later, the blisters have cleared up but now I have large amorphous bumps all over where the blisters used to be. And it seems to be spreading! What's happening?

From time to time I get these small blotchy pink rashes on various parts of my body. These rashes are flat (not raised), and completely painless. They do not itch and sometimes the might burn very slightly only when I take a shower and the hot water touches it. These have occured on my upper leg, lower legs, stomach, back and shoulders.

I thought maybe it was possibly herpes since I've had a few different sex partners, but I have had 2 blood tests for herpes that both came back negative. And I've never had blisters on these spots (although I know it's possible for herpes to not blister). Also, these occur in different places, not in the exact same spot over and over again.

Can anyone tell me what this might be? And by the way, these spots usually disappear completely between 1 and 3 days.

Soap is irritating my skin and leaving it dry and flaky. I've heard of honey, brown sugar and lemon, but that's an exfoliant. Does anyone know of a recipe for cleansing (not just exfoliating)?

I am a very clean person. Can't stand to have dirty hands. In the past month or two I developed a bump near my cuticle. It was very itchy. It went away but now I have one on my other hand in the same spot, and one on my toe. They do not hurt but do itch and are very annoying. They seem to appear over night and right around where the nail meets skin. One is a little further away from the nail. I have not been in contact with anything poison as far as I know. They are hard bumps almost like a knot, but no bigger then the diameter of a slurpy straw. They are red in color and seem to itch more at night time. The skin appears to be shinnier where the bumps are. I have tried hyrdocortisone, baking soda, benedryl, peroxide, alchol, but nothing makes them go away or stops the itch. Eventually the first bump I developed went away on its on after 4 weeks but the skin where is appeared it still itchy and still shiny. From the time the first one appeared to the second one was about 3 weeks. HELP.

I used to use Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture for sensitive skin.
but that made my face way too oily.

So then I switched to Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture for combination skin, and now my skin is extremely dry!!

I need an oil-free moisturizer that wont dry out my skin (that's most important)

it needs to be available at a drugstore somewhere and I can't order online.
Again I'm looking for a MOISTURIZER, not a clenser. oil-free.

any suggestions???
