Sorry for this question, but are you on birth control pills (I could not identify your gender based on your name). Sometimes, bc pills can contribute to the little spider veins. these are just veins which are close to the skin - similar to varicose veins. There is a simple method to remove them - seek advise from your family MD. the method involves saline injections. A small amount of saline is injected into the vein. I have known colleagues who have had this done (by vascular surgeon - you want someone who knows what they are doing). I do believe that there is a possibility that these varicose veins can return again. Depending on your skin tone and location on your legs - ie. high on the thigh - where they are less visible) - you may not necessarily need to do anything about them.

I just read a little about varicose veins. Wear support hose and keep your feet elevated as much as possible. The doctor can do a surgery where they push a long plastic tube into your vein and they go all the way up to your groin and pull out your vein. Sounds too painful for me.

Standing for pro-longed periods of time can make this condition worse. Try elevating your feet whenever you get the chance. Also, massaging lightly with arnica gel or vitamin k cream is greatly beneficial. There are also supplements you can take that may help with this condition including grape seed extract, horse chestnut and pycnogenol. Visit www.swansonvitamins.com for a good variety of supplements at reasonable prices. If your condition doesn't improve after trying any of these natural methods, your doctor may be able to provide additional information for your particular condition and may know of another remedy that may work better for you. Good luck!
