Soap is irritating my skin and leaving it dry and flaky. I've heard of honey, brown sugar and lemon, but that's an exfoliant. Does anyone know of a recipe for cleansing (not just exfoliating)?

I'm not looking for a product like "proactiv." I'm looking for something all natural like a fruit or something.

You need a soap that is superfatted- at least 5%.
http://www.herbariasoap.com/soaps/soap_almond_green_tea.asp
Use a soap that has olive oil or almond oil as it's first ingredient.
most liquid baby bath soaps are superfatted and very mild.
You could also use a shaving foam such as Noxzema Comfort foam and add a few drops of oil to your hand and blend them together.Wash as you regularly would and rinse with cool wate, hot can dry out your skin.

I have recommended this product so many times - it's brilliant, organic, natural. It's called Neals Yard Wild Rose Beauty Balm - best & cheapest place to get a tub of it is on Ebay I think. Leaves your skin *so* soft, smelling wonderful and really clean.

A little lemon juice is exceptional for chopping oil, and leaves a blank scent. Just upload a few water to it, and splash in your face, or use a cotton ball for extra manipulate. Good success.

You could try mixing orange juice (the acid will remove dry skin layers) and mayonnaise (for moisturizing.)
Leave it on about 3 minutes. Don't get it in your eyes, though.
