Skin Conditions - November 2006

When my daughters wear earrings made of any material,their earlobes are getting wounded soon.
The wound can be cured but the condition does not change.Do you have any experience to over come this problem/any treatment to cure it permanently?

i shaved my legs first time. I think i shaved fast.
then after rinsing, my legs were covered with spots. its not ingrown hairs, but the hairs were individually covered with red spots.

is this normal? dangerous?
is it going to scar?

In the middle of the night my wife got up to tend to our baby daughter and moved one of out childs fluffy animals. On doing so she appears to have upset something as she got a few drops of a liquid which glowed on her hand. There was a bit of a painful burning sensation but it seemed to fade quite fast and so far there’s been no further ill effect.

For info we have no pets and limited contact with them.

So my question is this. What sort of creature produces secretions like this?

It's inside my lip, and it's a small depressed bump of about 2 millimeres. It is white with a red circle round it!

Hi there

Over the last couple of months, a small cluster of red blood vessels or veins have been slowly appearing at the top of my nose, between my eyes. It started off as a small red mark, but has grown out in a kind of spider web formation, but recently it has started spreading to the skin around my eyes as well.

I've looked on the web and found it sounds like roseacea, but I am only 20 and my family has no previous history of this. Basically, I would like to get rid of them, but being a student don't have the funds for laser removal - is there anything else I could use to return my skin to its natural colour and get rid of these red vessels/veins?

iv got them mainly underneath my chin and it looks horrible.my face [thanks to god] is ok.
what do i do and why am i gettin them there mainly?i hear it cud be stress or makeup.....but not sure...anything i can do??

I'm getting really annoyed. I'm 13, using MALE deoderant/anti-perspirant and I STILL sweat! A lot! I know it can't be too normal. It's also very embaressing! How can I stop sweating to much around my underarms?(I do wear all cotton, It's defenitally anti perspirant!)

I have a small white lump just under my eye. I can't feel it when I put my finger across it but it is white, like a loss of pigmentation. I can't think what could have caused this. The only thing different I have done lately is streak my hair with Garnier Mulit-Lights in blonde. Some fell on my forehead, but there is no discolouration there. Please, does anyone know what it is?

Ive been talking medication for about one week and it seems to be doing better and Ill take it the two weeks it suggests. Where is the fungus more likely from unprotected sex or chronic masterbation which I read could also be the cause keeping the penis constantly moist. The symptoms showed up about 2 weeks after sex.

I have over 20 moles on my face and they are all flat. They are dark brown colored and range from a pencil dot to a millimeter. I dislike them. Is there anyway to remove them without having to go to a doctor or buying medicine or applying makeup?

products. The products really don't help. Oddly what seems to be working for me is putting very very hot water packs on each pimple.Leaving the hot pack for minutes at a time only to get more hot water. It seems to bring the swelling down and also seems to bring the infection to a head then allowing it to drain. I keep appliing the hot packs for a short period of time e.g. 3 days. I am wondering if anyone knows if this is a real method used by other people?

i have it all over my forehead, chin, nose, and cheeks. I'm still in middle school so it's embarrassing! My parents won't let me see a dermatologist because it's too expensive, and they said i don't even have acne! Nothing from the chemist or the doctor works so i feel like i'm just stuck with it! i have a skin rash on the right upper back and it has been there for months i thought it was ringworm but its irregular in shape and the skin is bumpy with little goosebumps and its darkened in the area it itches sometimes and its also scaly what could this be should i be worried please help me i would have seen a doctor but i cannot afford insurance so i've been using antifangul creams with no effect
