Evolution. Those with hary palms and feet have died out long ago. My pet poodle keep skidding due to its hairy paws. They are purposely bred that way.

as pearl jam might say " its evolution baby " ! i think it would be cos they just get rubbed off so much they gave up trying....the same areas dont get sun burnt either.....
