It sounds like it could possibly be discoid lupus. Don't quote me on this, I'm not a doctor, but I have both types of lupus. Discoid is the rash. It usually appears on the upper back, face, neck and arms. Is your back exposed to the sun?
I"m asking because sun and light can worsen the rash and make it more noticeable.

try dropping a few drops of lavender oil into a basin of water and use a cloth to apply it. Do this twice a day, in the morning and at night. After doing that you might want to apply some baby powder to prevent itching and exposure

It does certainly sound like ringworm..however, usually they are not itchy. I assume u tried the cream lotion made for ringworm ( Tinactin)...Unfortunately I think you may need a steroidal prescriiption from a doc.

Go to an instore clinic and show it to a dr there. It might be ringworm, but they can give you the medicine there at a discount.

Try to find a free clinic in your area. The local health department can point you in the right direction.

Hey, spring for the appointment at your local health clinic. No one here is a doc, and even if one of us were, we can't see your back.
