Skin Conditions - October 2006

On and off, for months, I have had red, itchy, raised welts that show up on my arms, legs, stomach, and upper back/neck... usually only 1 or 2 places at a time. And, when every I unintentionally scratch myself, not enough even to bleed, it raises and becomes itchy, then spreads. I don't want to go to a doctor if it isn't serious. Can anyone help?????

I just got out of the tanning bed. And i noticed my face was RED and so i started looking at my arms and legs and noticed they had red bumps on them (some big, some small) and i was thinking it was hives...But it could just be a heat rash or something or.....i dont know i need answers!! I had these marks after i used a particular skin cream and weight loss which caused the marks but it had nothing to do with pregnancy.Im so worried,i have used loreal anti-stretchmarks for a year now but the marks still exist.I have afro skin,help me clear these marks cuz im shy to wear a bikini exposing them.

Everytime i get out the shower my skin is VERY itchy. And it will last until my skin is competly dry. Usully about 10 or 15 minutes. I used a store bought cream for extra dry skin, that i apply right when i get out and usully one other time through out the day, b/c i thought it was dry skin, but that doesnt help. I also use soap for sensative skin. Nothing is working. Any idea as to what might help, or what it is?

off and on for months now I've been struggling with my eyes. The skin around my eyes will get really itchy (normally at night which keeps me up). I don't itch them a whole lot, but it gets so bothersome that I just have to. In the morning my eyes are swollen and all the skin around is beat red. It leaves me looking like a retarded drug user. Nothing seems to help, eye drops seem to make it worse. I've used a good eye skin lotion but nothing. I'll ice it a while in the morning so I can open my eyes but it only makes the swelling go away slightly and brings out the red. I am not allergic to anything and can’t seem to pin point why some nights they itch and others don’t. Anyone have this problem or ideas?

i actually hav acne free but im 2 lazt 2 follow the things!! lol i did it actually 4 about 3 days and then i stopped cuz it didnt even look like it was helping so what is better?

i think so because i see very small bumps under the mouth and i think that my glands is swollen.

i work in a dance studio and in the time of 4 hours my clear nail polish turned from clear to black- it isnt my actual nails just the polish, also the top joints of my fingers in the crease are black looking- anybody have anything for me on this?

I started having extremely itchy skin on my legs two months ago and since then I have tried five different lotions for relief. I tried Jergens, Vaseline, Suave, Nivea, and some kind of body butter form the Body Shop. All lotions were 'healing' lotions for extremely dry skin. Nothing seems to work for more than a few hours and the itching is driving me crazy. I don't have a rash or anything like that.
