they are brown/red in color and he complains it hurts when I comb his hair. It will go away temporarily when I wash his hair with dandruff shampoo (pyrithizone zinc) but is usually back the next morning. He has been diagnosed with exczema, but only has it occasionaly, it is not severe. Could these scales on his head be exczema, psoriasis or are they simply just dandruff?

I just got back from the beach and I got a sunburn in a few areas that I missed when I was putting on sunblock. I can remember having sunburn before. Is it suppose to itch? I took a show after I got home (to washed my hair and get the sand off of me), but i was told that was a mistake because the soap would 'dry it out'. What should i do now, that i caught it quick, but stil made that 'mistake'? Should I rub it with oitment or lotion? I dont have anything special, and i dont plan on running out for any, becaus ethis does happen often and it isnt a large area.

it has swelled up quite badly.she has been given anti biotics.flucloxacllin capsules 500 mg.
taken from yesterday 11am.
the swelling has not got any better yet.when can we expect it to go down?

I have excema that flares up alot more in the summer.. my whole body just recently broke out because i used a washcloth that was washed in TIDE.. i have to use baby detergent and anything that i touch must be fragrance free because my skin is extremely sensitive .. any tips on relieving the itching and making the bumps go away ( there very very tiny, but they still are there)

i dont know what the heck it is, it is just one dark red spot like the size of a golf ball, full of tiny bright white bubbles. yes, it looks as gross as it sounds. any ideas on what the heck this is? i want to know if its necessary to go to the doctor, i have a real phobia of the doctors office, but this thing looks so nasty!! if you have had bites from fleas .. can you talk about where your bites were (ie concentrated on a certain area, more than others)..how did you get rid of them? do fleas look like small black things and just keep jumping and are really hard to kill?!? please answer with any knowledge you have on them. thanks in advance x

after a long hospital stay i lost a lot of weight, then was put on steriods that caused me to gain weight very quickly. because of this i developed several stretch marks on my lower back taht are all up to 6 inches long and about an inch wide. i have grown used to them but i would like to get rid of them.

I got bit by some mosquitos over a week ago, the result is red rings, nearly 4X's the size of the bite. is this normal? I lived in FL all my life and got bit with no reaction, I went to Myrtle Beach and this is what has happened! Size of a dime, kinda puffy, not oozing or anything, just looks really really bad. My scalp gives off small, clear looking crystals. They could be compared to "Sugar in the raw" ( a larger type of sugar crystals), but they are clear. These make my scalp itch continuously. I went to my doctor, and he perscribed selenium sulfide (2.5%), but the only affect this had on me was to give me what looked like very thin flakes. What condition could I have? Any advice will be really appreciated...

I get little white lumps on my scalp, not attatched to it, they come off! i don't think it's dandruff as they're little white round things and i always use anti-dandruff shampoo. it's not lice eggs as 1/ i don't have lice 2/ they're little hard lumps 3/ they seem to grow from my scalp rather than to be attached to my hair. my ex had a similar thing so i'm thinking it may be something contagious! any clues... oh yeah... sometimes my scalp itches alot and i got little sore spots sometimes too in my scalp

I have these brown marks on my skin. pharmacist said it was fungus thats causing them and prescribed me a Lamisil creme.It was really better when i was using it but then when I stopped the marks came back. Now i have even worse skin problem. Like a year or so ago i started getting those warts that are not normal warts. They are from light to dark brown, very smooth and appearing on my stomach, breast and back. They are very small but still annoying. Can someone tell me what can that be.
