Now you got me worried. I have the same thing. I had gotten ring worm in the past from a new cat that slept on my arm. with an anti fungal cream it was gone in no time.
This time I clearly got a mosquito bit, in a day or two the familiar ring came, but this time didn't heal. when I used a anti bacterial cream it got worst. Now with the the anti fungal cream , it's healing, but it looks like I'll have a scar.

I have the same thing right now. I live in Florida and the mosquitoes bite you and if you scratch it it turns into something that resembles a ring worm. I went to the er and they refuse to listen when i told them a mosquito bite me. So now i will be going to my own doctor. I advise don't scratch it because it will change and spread. See a really good doctor who will understand this is not a ring worm but an insect bite and treat it accordingly

Lyme disease comes from certain species of ticks. You can't get Lyme from mosquitoes, but the immune response answer seems pretty good as I at this moment have that ring about 3/4 inch in diameter following what I thought was a mosquito bite. I have wondered if an insect can cause ringworm.

I also thought of Lyme Disease first, being the summer and all, but I'm not sure if it's endemic to FL. You could also have any manner of skin infection that comes with mosquito bites or presents that way. You certainly should go to your doctor or dermatologist and have it looked at.
P.S. Holistic medicine probably won't be able to help you if you've really got Lyme Disease or another infectious process. Is that a chance you really want to take? Take some root-of-something or oil-of-something, and die or get really sick from an infection?

Get tested for Lyme's disease, from ticks. They could be dear fly or horse fly bites. They could last 3 weeks. Get some Lanacane spray, this should help. If condition worsens, see a good Holistic practioner.

It was probably a mosquito you have never been exposed to before. You will build up antibodies for those you have been exposed to and the ones that are "new", will react like you are describing...somewhat how children when they get their first bites. After your body builds antibodies, those symptoms will go away and it will be an ordinary bite.

Eczema patients can avoid scratchy fibers for softer ones like bamboo, cotton, or silk, which are gentler on the skin. Opting to buy organic fibers can also be a wise, healthy, and eco-friendly alternative. Learn here https://tr.im/6v1Ve
