Since I was about 11 EVERY SINGLE TIME my hands get wet, they bother me. Enough that if I don't use hand lotion I will go into a panick until I find some. It doesn't hurt, but the feeling is like my finger prints have doubled, and I feel like my skin went as dry as leather. I've gotten so bad that I DO NOT wash my hands at all during the day...no matter what. And if I know I'll be getting wet (shower or swimming) I make SURE I have lotion around. Even lotion doesn't cure it 100%, only time does that, and it's usually 30 minutes to an hour.
Any Dermatologists out there who have heard of a similar condition? I've had it for like 19 years.
I hate bathing my kids with rubber gloves. And, I would love the idea of actually wanting to go swimming. Right now when I hear swimming, all I think about are my hands.
It bothers my feet some too, but not nearly as bad. And if I put socks on and make my feet sweat, it's not so bad. Someone help!!

Ever since I was a little kid, my body has been very sensitive to mosquito bites. If I even touch/rub/itch them, they will turn into nasty scabs. Anyone know why this is happening?

My daughter and son have excema, but my daughters is the worst. She bathes in dove, and uses a cortosione cream. It helps sometimes but for example, tonight her face was really dry. it was burning her. she put the medicine the doctor gave her for her face on it and it burned....what is the best way to treat excema?

They look like ringworm, but only one was curved shape. The first time they showed up after I jumped into an untreated swimming pool. A month later, one showed up next to an old one. They show up over night and disappear a day or two later.
The doctor says I have folliculitus, but I disagree becuase I have no hair where the blister shows up. Does anyone have any suggestions about what I've got?

I am 16 and around a year and a half ago I developed a rash under both my arms. It does not itch but consists of many brown patches that merge together in the middle. I have tried using different deodorants and even stopped using them altogether for a while, but nothing helps. Not even an intensive moisturiser my pharmacist recommended. Has anyone else on here had anything like this? What would you suggest I do to try to clear it up?

For several months I have been out. My skin ranges from extremely sensitive at best to severely itching, getting bad enough to cause a jerking reflex reaction to a pinpoint pain caused by the irritation.

I have seen a lot of docs and taken lots of tests with no resolution, so I am looking for causes other than liver ailments and allergies - something tat wouldn't show up in a typical blood tests, urinalysis, MRI, EEG, or ultrasound.

I seldom have breaking out with my rosacea, but I have a lot of small broken blood vessels on my cheeks. Does anyone know a safe remedy? Is it safe to have a facial...even a deep cleansing facial? Are there products I should avoid using on my face?

A friend of mine has it and he says there is no treatment for it. I don't believe so. There must be something that reduces the red marks on his body, right?
