I've been through 2 years of interferon and rebetrol. One pre PEG and one with PEG. Still have a viral load. My liver doc says low dose interferon will help in the long run. I can't find anything in the lit about this. Still taking milk thistle and zero alcohol.
So, before I have to fork over 600 bucks a month, does low dose interferon work and does anyone have a link to it?

Abdominal scan
Liver : the liver is normal in size with smooth outline and homogenous echogenicity.no focal lesion is seen.
Gallbladder : the gallbladder is well defined with no stone in situ or thickened wall. The ductal systems are normal
Pancreas : the pancreas is normal in outline and echogenicity the lesser sac are normal. No lesser sac mass is seen
Spleen : the spleen is normal in size outline and echogenicity.
Kidneys : right renal length = 111mm
Left renal length = 119mm
The capsules are smooth with well differtiated corticomedullary patterns. No ascites is seen no cyst, mass or focal lesion is seen. No para-aortic lymphadenopathy is seen.

hi I M SHAHID FROM PAKISTAN. ACTUALLY MY FATHER CAME OUT AS HCV +IVE, DURING AN CCIDENTAL BLOOD TESTING, NOW WE ALL THE FAMILY MEMBERS ARE VERY ANXIOUS, BECAUSE HE IS THE ONLY CARETAKER OF OUR FAMILY.

Rest live parenchyma shows bright exotexture; also spleen is of normal size, shape and echotexture.
