I have been diagnosed with shingles and am on medications. There is a band about 4 inches wide which runs from my spine around and over my right rib cage to my front midline. There are only 4 welts which are not blistering and the hot, stabbibg pain is nearly unbearable at times. I would like to hear from others who have or have had shingles and what you found gave you relief.

While it is common knowlege that most human virus and bacteria are not wanted in the body, does the human immune system stay healthy and effective if not invaded by these "bugs". Sometimes in a more mechanical situation, a working machine must be put to use to remain effective. Whats up here?
