I think you mean lido or lidocaine. The three meds are sometimes mixed together as a "cocktail" to be used as a gargle for people with painful mouth ulcers resulting from chemotherapy. The meds coat and numb the ulcers so patients can try and eat with less pain. Also used for oral ulcers from Herpes infections.

benedryl is an antihistamine for allergies and allergic reactions. maalox is an antiacid for indigestion.
