These are the main ways in which someone can become infected with HIV:
-unprotected penetrative intercourse who someone who is infected.
-Injection or transfusion of contaminated blood or blood products, donations of semen (artificial insemination), skin grafts and organ transplants taken from someone who is infected.
-From a mother who is infected to her baby; this may be during the course of pregnancy, at birth and through breast-feeding.
Sharing unsterilised injection equipment that has been previously used by someone who is infected.

You can get HIV by having unprotected sex with someone that has the virus. Sharing drug needles. I have heard that some people have gotten HIV through blood transfusion back in the 90's.

Dear, Hiv will get in to you through unprotected sex with someone who has the virus,or usage of razors,needles,etc.Only possibility is through open skin like a wound in your skin.

Unprotected sex, sharing needles, blood transfusions, and not using standard precautions. ie cleaning up bodily fluids, drawing blood
