Haha!

Well we are just coming into spring here and whenever I'm at school I get really bad allergies.

I just take hayfever pills but they are annoying because I need them nearly everyday!

Any suggestions?

Not all fruit, but certain types of fruit, such as apples, nectarines, plums and kiwis will make my mouth, teeth, throat and sometimes all my sinuses including my ears very itchy, and sometimes even sore. It’s not a fatal allergy like the way some people are to peanuts, but extremely uncomfortable nonetheless. What is wrong with me? It’s very upsetting that I can’t enjoy apples the way other people can, and it’s a real waste given they’re both healthy and delicious.

I'm very sensitive to insect bites, esp. mosquitoes, and have tried everything in the book. Topically I've tried hydrocortisone, tea tree oil, rubbing alcohol, baking soda paste, you name it. Orally I've got a good day pill. At night I use Benadryl which is great because it knocks me out to sleep where I can't feel the itchiness, BUT I'm up within 3 hours scratching myself awake. I eat garlic and take Vitamin B complex as preventative measures. I use bug repellent but the skeeters get me when I forget to spray. I've got prevention down pat, I need advice about the itching! I'm dying here, anyone have a miracle?

The lower eyelid of my left eye has an uncontrollable quivering or trembleing that comes and goes. It is really annoying! Not really painful, eye not red, no eye drainage or anything. It has been going on for about 3 days now off and on.

Could it be stress related? I have been under tremendous strain in the last week with my hubby in the hospital, and another family member sick and hospitalized at a different hospital.

Could it be sinuses or allergy? I have environmental allergies, hay fever, etc. I am a little stuffed up, but nothing major.

ANY HELP OR SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!! Thanks!

Before I go to the doctor, I thought I'd ask on here first-

For the last 3 years, my nose has been running constantly. I am never far from a box of tissues, I always have tissues stuffed in coat pockets; jean pockets; drawers; glove box; everywhere! If I go out anywhere, regardless if it's warm or cold, my nose runs and I freak out if I don't have tissues handy. I can't sit down to watch TV without a tissue at the ready. It has become so much part of my life now, that everyone jokes about it.
I have looked it up in medical books but it doesn't really tell me what is wrong? I know it could be allergies (I have got many pets and have had animals since I was a kid but it is only in the last few years that this has started happening) but I am very close to going to the docs to have it sorted cuz it is driving me up the wall.
Any help would be really great?

I seem to be allergic to any type of bandage adhesive. Any time I use any type of bandaids or tape with gauze I get these terrible bruises and welts on my skin and it turns very red and it's SO painful while they are on and after I take them off. I have to use them for a wound that I have. Anybody have experiences like this? What do you use? I'm desperate for suggestions!

Does anyone know of a sandwich type bread recipe, without gluten, yeast or sugar, that is made without a special commercial mix.

I can make cornbread, muffins, crapes and waffles, but I can't find a decent sandwich type bread. The bread just crumbles, is very heavy and has no flavour.

I don't know where to post this type of question.

I had an allergy shot yesterday about halfway between my shoulder and my elbow. Today I have an area of redness about 3 inches long by 2 inches wide that is filled with broken capillaries. There are also a couple of red "tendrils" that extend up to my shoulder and around my arm. At the end of each tendril are a couple of large hives. It is extremely itchy!

Anyone else have a similar reaction? What can I do to help control it? It just keeps spreading and the prescription steroid cream I have does nothing.

My question is how do these children cope with being out in the public not knowing who has eatten peanuts or peanut products. Some children in my grandchildrens' school have peanut alergies so severe even the smell of peanuts can trigger an attack. My nephews have children who are allergic to eggs so the students cannot bring egg sandwiches but products containing eggs are ok. I would hope all parents would monitor the contents of the lunches sent to school ( afterall if it were our own child we would expect the same diligence)..I guess my question how do these kids cope out in public?

I am allergic to cats. I have four. My allergist would be totally happy if I got rid of all of them. I love my cats and have had them for years and could not ever choose one or more to get rid of. What are some tips to keep my house clean to reduce the allergins? They sometimes come in the bedroom. Would that drastically help to keep them out?

Every time I eat anything that has raw onions in it I start to feel very sick, ie: lightheaded and nauseas oh and the taste stays in my mouth/throat for ages.

When it's cooked I am alright. Does this make sense?
