Other than staying away from the source, what else can we do to get the paint fumes from freshly painted walls out of the house so I can go back in?

I have ended up in the hospital ER several times with unrelenting seizures, vomiting, confusion, breathing problems and disorientation. Any suggestions as we repain the parlor?

Open windows as much as possible. Let air flow throughout the house. If you are allergy sensative, talk with your doc. I know if you've ended up in an ER of your favorite hospital, your doc probably knows the situation. Ask tjhe paint place where you purchased the paint what THEY recommend. For future painting jobs, ask a paint specality store if there are paints for allergy-sensative people. If not, what should you, as a consumer, look for on the can before purchasing it? They can help you.

Your best bet might be to stay away from the house for a few days while you are completing renovations, of course assuming you have somewhere to go. But if you absolutely must be in the house, I suggest keeping all windows open and staying as far away from the area being painted as well. Such as if its on the first floor, try to stick around on the second floor with a door between you and the fumes with an opened window.

the paint will give off fumes even after it has dried...you are obviously allergic to it. I suggest it be removed entirely and you get a different paint. (or consider wall paper)
Also wear a respirator made for painters while applying and until the new paint is dry.
