the hair in your nose traps small particals..that is their job..

So..when you blow your nose..it is the small particals from the air that you are blowing out.

Blowing your nose, it should be clear.

If there is a yellow tint or residue as you say, that is the sign of some kind of sinus infection.

The darker it gets (green to brownish), the worse the infection.

eyeliner isn't up your nose. it's probably dirt caught by the little hairs in your nostrils. that's there job
