Hey girls.

I am 17 and a half and I have had my period for 6 years.

Normally they have been mostly regular (I have a 3-5 week cycle dependant on the time of year and stress), but I have not had my period for 9 weeks now!

I am NOT sexually active, never have been, not on the pill nothing has really changed, so I don't understand why I have skipped my period last month.

The only thing I can think of is that around the time I was due, I had 2 really major things going on for me:
1) My parents told me they are separating.
2) I was in my final high school exams & was graduating from high school.

But normally, if I am stressed I don't skip them completely, they might come 1 week late or be very light, so I don't understand what's going on! I have also had very little normal discharge. :|

I have been diagnosed with severe depression & even during my darkest days, I still had my period! My depression medication hasn't changed either. Nor have I gained/lost a lot of weight.

I have a 21 month old son who will be 2 in March. His whole life, off and on, he has had some kind of runny nose/cough. This worries me quite a bit. Therefore, I have been asking the Doctors for the last 4 visits if we should do some allergy testing. They keep blowing me off and telling me to try this and that first, sometimes giving me medicine samples or even a prescription. Should I switch to another family practice or is there some kind of strict rule on testing children for allergies? Also, could this have something to do with the fact that he has been on Medicaid all his life?

I have been up most of the night with indigestion and my stomach feels really upset, but I don't know how to make it feel better. I tried antacids which didn't help much. Can you still catch the "flu" virus even if you had the shot and also what can I do to relieve my stomachache the fastest?

I usually take my pill between 10-12 or occasionally later at night, pepends what i'm doing, i've just finished my 7 day pack which i was meant to start again on friday night.... but my alarm didn't go off and i forgot and didn't remember till 12.30 the next morning and took it than!!

Me and my boyfriend use condoms anyway so i'm not worried about that, but on the leaflet it says if you have more than 7 pills left (which i do) take a weeks break at the end..... But it's xmas season, parties plus my boyfriends going away so we won't see each other for almost 6 months and it's his bday!!! Can i just skip my period anyway... i wasn't that late???? Only thing is this is my second month of being on this particular pill.

Back in the day 36-26-36 or 36-24-36 used to be considered the ideal figure. Really, I think those are incredibly attractive proportions. What ever happened to that figure?
