Hello all, I am looking for a knitting pattern for a baby blanket with a dragonfly motif. I recieved this pattern in an e-mail from one of the knitting magazines. The blanket had a solid white center and a blue or green border stitched with dragonflies.
Please help if you have seen this pattern! Thanks!

I'm thinking of something like a paper folding puzzle, and the only way to see the message inside is to figure out a way to open the puzzle. How can I do this at home?

I am embossing using blocks using Plaster of Paris moulds or softboard moulds. This is time consuming. I understand that embossing can be done using male and female dies. Can anyone explain please?

I need instructions on how to paint breyer horses. I have all my model paints, 25 to be exact. All of my different sized brushes, 9. I also have one of my 15 breyer horses I have picked out to paint. I need very thorough instructions too. (Is it true I have to sand all the paint off?)

I refused to pay $5.50 for her name and $3.50 for each sports icon. It's already expensive enough! So is there some craft kit I can buy to imprint her name and year on the cover? It has a dark blue, textured cover. I am thinking something in a metallic-type of lettering. Any scrap-bookers out there? All ideas welcome. Thanks.

I'm looking for a hobby. It needs to be very cheap (preferably something that would not require me to spend money), and it needs to be something I can do at home. About the only thing I am interested in right now is sports. However, I'm getting kind of bored with just playing, watching, eating, sleeping, etc. sports all the time. Any help with other hobby ideas would be appreciated.

It takes so long to do but it is an art. The overseas labor can do it for so cheap it ruins the art of making it yourself. Is it worth it to make alot of items and go to craft shows and try to sell it?

I'm not very good at knitting, I can just about cast on and knit and then cast off. In fact about all I can knit is squares or scarves!

Knitting patterns seem so complicated and confusing to me.

Can anyone explain how to knit bootees please? Bearing in mind that I really don't understand how to read knitting patterns...

I'd love to make some cute little bootees for my newborn son. I know I could buy them off ebay or whatever but it'd be nice if when he's older I could keep them and remember that I'd made them myself for him.

Thank you! :)
