Where I can find 0.6mm or (1/32) steel wire for my small R/C plane in LA?

Question

I want to buy the 0.6mm steel wire (or around the size) to put on my radio control plane as a push rod, where I can get it near my place? I live in Arcadia.
I don't want to go to hobby people cause it's too expensive...
Does anyone know that what hardware I can get it?

We have an ordinary neighborhood hardware store near me in St. Louis that has stuff like that. You should be able to get it from Hobby People, Hobby Lobby, Hobbytown U.S.A., for less than $1.00. Do a Google search on those stores and see if you have one near you.
