You have KM# 95 a 50 Lira coin from Italy. I guess the obverse has a bust of Roma goddess of Rome and the reverse has a nude blacksmith striking an anvil. The mintage of the 1977 coin is 293,800,000 so it is not a scarce coin, all though it does have artistic merit, like the ancient Greek coins of old. Here we put dead presidents on coins and they do lack artistic merit, unlike our coins of old. More people are wising up to the fact there are some nice world coins out there. Value is around 10 to 20 cents as a collectors item.. Hope I answered your question.

You have an Italian 50 lire coin minted from 1954 to 1989 in stainless steel at Rome mint. However, it's an obsolete coin because Italy had, from 1992 till 2001, changed the 50 lire coin 2 times and has been using the Euro currency since 2002. Your 1977 issue has a high mintage of 293,800,000 and according to book, in circulated condition it's worth $0.10 to $0.25, and uncirculated valued at $0.75. But these 50 lires are normally in dealer's mixed world coins bin for $0.25 each.
