Yes, but I believe there are separate guilds for each. Look for a needlework shop in your area. They usually have information sheets on the sewing guilds and how to join. From there you join a local chapter. I think most meet about once a month.

a "guild"? Sure there are sewing circles, sewing groups, sewing websites, project websites, etc. it's all on the internet. When I'm looking for something I use the yahoo search engine...just ask there for what you need.

I'm sure there is. Why don't you hit Google and see what hits come up. Try different wordings: crafts clubs; sewing clubs, etc.
