I am embossing using blocks using Plaster of Paris moulds or softboard moulds. This is time consuming. I understand that embossing can be done using male and female dies. Can anyone explain please?

You can either emboss with a manual system like the Shapeboss. You use plastic stencils or texture plates that are aligned properly and then you manually apply pressure to emboss the paper. You can emboss paper and foil this way.

The Wizard Die Cut Machine embosses and cuts shapes. Because it exerts 3000 pounds of pressure you can emboss thicker objects like metal and leather. You use dies supplied by the manufacturer.

Nope can no longer do. it does not extra healthful and the device isn't made to cut back. in case you prefer to apply die cuts, take the embossing device back and get a Sizzix die cut back device. it could emboss and cut back out dies.

You sandwich your paper in between the two dies. Line up the dies perfectly to make your design.
