I recently went to the wedding reception of an old friend that I’d not seen for 5 years. He introduced me to many people, but the only thing he’d ever say about me was that I play video games. Well, that is true; and I did play video games a lot 5 or 6 years ago, but I really don’t play them much at all any more.
I want to start a new hobby, so I’ll have more to tell people that I do. Saying “I play video games” tends to make one sound like some kind of lazy bum with no social life. I know that’s not always the case, but that is the stereotype, and certainly doesn’t describe me very well.
I was thinking something artistic or music related; learning to play the electric guitar perhaps?
Something a little more physical might be fun, too. Perhaps taking up bodybuilding (not exactly my style, but wouldn’t hurt), or swimming.
I’m just looking for some general hobby suggestions that might be fun and not too expensive to do.

I tried very heavy weights on small bunches and doesn't work.
They aren';t curled, just "humped" up, for lack of better word though convex is the correct word I think. Any imput would be very appreciated, especially if it is something you have tried and had success with. Thanks much.

It is a 2 horse trailer with mangers, i was planning on taking the manger part out of one side but would need to add padding for the horse if i did that. I'm planning on going for a very long drive with him and would like him to beable to put his head down to help keep him from getting sick. If anyone has any good ideas for the best way to go about doing this, let me know. i can't find anything online.

I'm looking for a rhinstone/stud gun to put on jeans, vinyl, leather, fabric, etc..just like what the "bedazzler" would do, but better. The bedazzler is poorly/cheaply made and it never did what it was supposed to do. Where can I find a better quality tool that is reliable and durable so that I can start making my duds look cool with studs and rhinstones?Where can I find this tool? Hobby lobby, michaels, walmart, where?

I got this coin a long time ago and I have no idea what it is. It's a copper color, just like a penny. It's about the same size also. On one side it says 1P and has some weird deisgn i can't explain. On the other side it looks like it says eire and 8661, but they're some foreign characters. On this side there's also a picture of something that looks about like a harp on it's side. Any coin collectors here know what it is?

Would you purchase unique handmade novelty knitting needles and crochet hooks?

I have a thought about one of a kind unique knitting needles and possibly crochet hooks . I was wondering is people would buy then for themselves or as gifts for others.

When I go to craft shows and meet other crafters, I see Caucasian men who do crafts. Crocheting, sewing, woodworking, etc. I even met one who collages things. They're not usually gay either. But, I never see Black or Latino or Chinese etc. men who do a craft. Are they in hiding? Plenty of artists, but no crafters or artisans.
