Anyone know any good crafts for kids 6-10 that arent very expensive? I like to do crafts with the little ones i babysit we have already done : soap, picture frames, and cookies. Supplies isn't a big deal and if It could a christmas present for mom and dad that'd be fine too or a holiday craft..

Every year we try and do something a bit different. and we do our best to move away from the rampant commercialism of Christmas by putting a vey modest limit on our gift giving. This year our limit per person in the family is £25 - as many or as few pressies as we want to buy with that - but the one proviso is that part of the pressie has to be made (and the costs of it included in the £25) I've thought of homemade chocs - with moulds where you fill with different things. Anyone got any ideas more original than that? BTW I'm not terribly craft talented, but willing to put in some time for a good result. Thanks in advance.

i've start to try to learn to Crochet. But I'm having trouble having my edges stay straight. If I say I want 15 going accross and the next row I do the same (15) and so on for each line it's starts to go inward instead of making the edges straight. how can I make it to were everything is right??

I hope this makes sences to people. If not i'm sorry :~(

You know, the adhesive boards that you can peel off sections one at a time to expose the adhesive so that colored sand can be applied to make a picture.

Thanks!
