I am relatively new to sewing (made a few skirts, and dresses with and without patterns), but would like to know how to add an accordion pleat to a slit in a skirt. I've tried sewing it in, but it always sticks out at a weird angle, and does not lay right, and I am very tired of ripping the seams out after another unsuccessfull attempt....can you help?

Pictures would be nice if you have any of what the inside/outside would look like. Thanks soooo much!!!!

I recently bought a coin that copy's the image of the 1 oz silver US bullion coin. It says Liberty on top, 1988 on bottom and in God we Trust to the right. The back shows an eagle with 999 fine silver on the top, e pluribus unum to the left and 2 troy oz on the bottom. The casing with it said Made in England but mentions no mint. Anyone ever heard of this coin? i never seen it before.

have you made out of things laying around your house. I have made several pieces of artwork using just a picture frame and that unusual yarn that they have out now.

*** not looking to make what you have made*** just curious to know what others have created.

My son wants to be a Viking for Halloween and we're thinking ahead. He needs a helmet and a shield. We'd really rather not buy cheap-o plastic stuff from the costume store unless there's no alternative. Can we make these two items ourselves using papier-mache? Neither my husband not I has done this before, so if you've got a good method, would you be willing to share it? Thanks a lot!

I have contacted the publisher; the issue is out of print. I have searched using Ask.com, Yahoo.com and MSN.com but have not found this particular issue offered for sale or swap. Camilla Valley doesn't have it; Nordic Fiber Arts is also sold out. Ebay's listings for this issue run $30+!

I am writing a book on my pc and just wanted to know how many pages is adequate for a single chapter. My first chapter is 4 pages long and my 2nd chapter is 3 pages long. I have worked really hard on both of these and feel that there's nothing more i can add to them to make them longer, without ruining the smooth running of the story line.
