Do you know anyone that has baby food jars
they are really great. Another one is old
prescription bottles. Even small yogurt containers
that you can put cool labels on and write the names
of what you have stored work pretty good.
Check out the thrift store for some containers
or old spice jars.

I love the little boxes with compartments. I've also found film canisters and small tubes (I got some beads that came in 'em) to be very hand for bead transportation. Just be really careful if you move, because there is nothing quite as bad as trying to sort out a few million seed beads. (The bigger ones are a pain, too.)

Use those plastic containers and caardboard pieces. Slide the cardboard into the box standing up, and make little storage for different beads, just a suggestion!

go to Home Depot or Lowe's and find the largest drawer system or the type that can be combined with different sizes.
Use mailing labels to label each drawer. I have two of the 30 drawer type in the closet, with more than just beads, and it is great. The kids have stopped asking where's a paper clip, rubberband, etc...

I've always bought my craft storage items from Michaels. Here is a link to what they have specifically for beading: http://www.michaels.com/art/online/displayproductlist?categoryid=75492

recycle...use old pill/medicines bottles, just take the label off and you should be able to see through it enough to tell what kind/colors of beads are stored in there.
