I want to make my own cell phone pouch so it matches my wardrobe. I'd like to find one that is pretty decent looking, with or withouut a snap top. Anybody have any info? Thanks.

[HOW TO MAKE A POUCH FOR YOUR CELL PHONE
[1] buy 1/8 yard of material .
[2] measure the height and width of your cell phone
[3] Add to inches to the width and double the height plus add two inches for the flap
[4] your material should look like a rectangle
[5] fold the material (with the right sides together)in half or enough to cover the cell phone and leave extra material for the flap.
[6] stitch down each side. (If you are using a serger you can serge three sides. The bottom won't need to be serged )
[7] turn the material inside out and you will have your pouch for your phone.

Are you trying to add a strap? Take some think cording that you purchase and make it as long as you want. , knot it together. slip the flap through the cording with the knot inside. stitch the flap holding the cording securely in place

hope this helps

You could try making a zipper style pouch like a small cosmetic bag. Add a snap ring to the zipper to attach to your belt loop.'
