First I have to say, sorry Pat C, but karaoke is not a fad. It's been around in the U.S. for over 20 years and is steadily becoming more popular.

Now to the question. The simplest way to play karaoke on your computer is to get the right software and play karaoke CDG discs with your CDROM drive. You can plug a microphone into your sound card. Most modern CD drives support the CDG format. The best way to test your drive is to obtain a CDG disc and play it with a demo version of Power CD+G Player. Refer to the link below.

This isn't like me,but I have to ask..How can you enjoy karaoke? Most people I've heard,should leave the singing to the shower.Please let this fade away like disco.You are imposing on other people with your "undiscovered " talent.Do you sing country?Everyone seems to think they can.
