I've been following the 2007 WSOP online, and they sat the last 10 players of the Main Event at one table. But they didn't quit for the evening until they eliminated one more. Only THEN was it considered a final table. If the tables are too small for 10, then why seat them there at all? And if it's a tradition, where did it come from?

I recently (8 months ago) won lottery (power Ball) I'll decline to give the amount because its irrelevant long story short the Lady that I was with at the time we stayed together for about 4 months after that and needless to say money changes people. We broke up, and this will make her 2 nd time getting a lawyer to try and press charges to sue me. This time she states that 50% of the winning is hers because she is the reason why I came to Tennessee to live and if it wasn't for that I would not have won.
The first time was the day after we broke up she stated that blah blah pain and suffering and I decided to give her 50k to settle out of court and just be done with it. I guess she figured that was only about 5% of my winnings and she wanted more.

My opinion: She cant prove that I came here and thats the reason why I won BUTTTT! ever since that last episode you'd be suprise of what people can get away with if you have a decent lawyer.

Also had a house in our name. Had 2 sell it

Also, size of sports books and number of hotel rooms. Basically, I'm looking for a table that will compare the sizes of the Las Vegas Strip Casino Hotels for all of the things listed in my question. I saw such a table a couple of years ago, but can't find it anywhere now. Thanks!

I got this letter in the mail with a $4100 check saying that I have winnings but I need to cash my check and then withdraw $2750 and then contact a number for payment instruction. It then says "Upon confirmation of payment of the processing fee from you to your agent, a final payment will be issued to you for $194780 less all deduction (i.e. Federal taxes, and surcharges) within 48 hours. The check looks real, theres no void sign on it or anything. The paper is signed by "Alvin Atkinson" and the address is 3220 North Parker, Ave. Indianapolis, In 46218
The top of the paper says"Cohen and Mayer Online Gambling Verification Centre"
....So . Do you think it's real? Should I call the #? Does it sound fake? LEMME KNOW PLEASE! Thanks!

At ring/cash games? At tournaments? At sit-n-gos? I used to play mainly cash games, but my winnings would fluctuate. I don't blame the style of games, I blame myself for going on tilt too often, so I do think cash games are the best way to make the most potential money, but lately I've been doing really well at single table sit-n-gos although I don't do so well at mega-multi-table tournaments (meaning thousands of entrants). I get home from work from 4pm-7pm, which is somewhere between 3am and 10am in the US, so there are often players online who are overly tired, desperate to get their winnings back, drunk or on tilt, and I find it easy to weed past half of them and into the money. So while I might not get the most bang for my buck from them, I have been winning consistently and doubled my bankroll in just a few days. What kind of tables do you find work best for you?

Your image: TAG
Opponent’s image: The button is fairly TAG and the SB has been a bit of a wild card.
Your hand: 2♦2♣

The setup: Preflop everyone folds to the button who makes a standard raise to $15. The SB calls and you call on the BB with 2♦2♣. You hit bottom set on the flop:

K♠6♣2♥

The SB checks and you decide to check. The button bets $25 and now the SB check raises to $75. The button has been playing a standard TAG game for shorthanded, making plenty of raises and continuation bets. The SB has been a strange mix of wild and quiet, but you haven’t seen them do anything that seems particularly stupid.
Should you raise or call??

Another thing is.. should you have bet the flop giving you a much wider range of hands that your oppenets thinks you have instead of checking it??
