Room prices in Vegas vary greatly depending on the location, if it is casino too, and the time of year. I have stayed twice at the MGM Grand for about $100 per night in off season, but see prices for the same room as low as $69 and as high as 400 per night - yes for the same room. So look around at Vegas.com (my favorite) and other travel sites to see what price you can get at the various hotels for the period you want to go.

Good luck, hope you can land a good deal.

It depends where u stay. There are a number of good quality places on the strip i.e. Ballys; Flamingo Hilton; Monte Carlo; Treasure Island; u can usually get these for 69-99$ Sunday- Thursday weekends are always more. Also off strip properties such as Rio, Orleans, or Palace Station are also affordable.

The rates vary depending on the day of the week and the season. I would check sites like hotels.com, vegas.com, or any of the travel websites like expedia etc.

While I haven't stayed at many of the hotels, I would recommend staying away from Excalibur, their beds are harder than the ones at Motel 6.
