Well, it's fully cooked, but how come when i eat it fresh out of the can or pour it in a bowl and eat it without microwaving people consider it as " gross " or " yuckkyyy. " ??

I went camping and brought along numerous cans of food. Beans, fruits, chili, veggies and glass jars of spaghetti sauce.
When we returned home I failed to unload all the cans of food and they sat in out trailer for a week in heat upwards of 100 degrees or so. My question: Are they still safe to eat? Is there a cutoff point where heat makes canned food/jars of food unsafe to eat? I never thought of it before until a neighbor lady mentioned something about it possibly being unsafe to eat now. Is she a nut who made me become a paranoid loon, or is there validity to this?

Thanks

They were oval shaped and multi colored/flavored. They were orange, red, grape, yellow, etc. Any idea what they were called?

I travel all over Europe and in the majority of countries they have wonderful cheeses displayed in their deli's and supermarkets. A huge range of different shapes, colours, sizes, flavours etc. British have teeny tubes, only soft cheese triangles and mouldy infected Stilton. Why is this?

My dad grew up eating C-ration canned bread in the mid-60s. My grandmother use to buy them at Sunbeam bakery. I'm hoping to get a description of the taste and texture so i can try to recreate it for him. All I can get out of my dad is that it was dense bread that was delicious. Thanks for any help. (P.S. they no longer make this bread, the tins you buy on ebay is vintage bread, I'm wanting edible bread) :)

At the moment I am trying to contact Sunbeam's mother company. For those who remember the bread, could you describe it to me, please? (sweet, dry, flavorless, buttery, yeasty, eggy, etc) Thanks for all your answers.

Candy melts are small wafer shaped pieces of chocolate that you can melt down and pour into molds. I am trying to fins someplace online that I buy in bulk, as in, some places offer a discount for buying in bulk. I know I can buy any quantity fro anywhere I want, but I am looking for someplace that offers a bulk discount. I prefer Wilton melts but if someone knows of another reputable (and just as yummy) brand, I am willing to check it out. Thanks!!!
