I Dont Know If I Can Choose Two But I Love Ziti Made Wit Italian Sausage Instead Of Ground Beef & Shrimp Scampi Pasta. Theyre both easy to make. Less than 30 Min Meal & Both Comes Out Magically Delicious If you make it the right way.

To be honest I love them all. Each pasta has a purpose, I didn't know this when I was less experienced in cooking. Now I very rarely use spaghetti, because the sauces I make are too thick for it. I like rigatoni a lot, also bowtie pasta (farafelli), there is also a spaghetti with ridges on it that helps hold sauce too.

You are not asking for a pasta DISH, but rather a pasta type--or species, if you will, of pasta.

Egg noodles, preferably wide. Why? It's comfort. You don't need to do much of anything with an egg noodle, though you can do a lot with one, extra-wide or thread-thin. There's also taste; it has more than other pastas by its very nature. You can dress it up with a sauce as is or as a companion with meat, or keep it simple...with butter...or with butter and smidgeon of garlic powder, or any seasoning of your preference. You can also fry cold egg noodles.

Next favorite is angel hair. There's no legitimate reason for preferring angel hair over regular or thin spaghetti noodles...except for its ease of cooking and how delicate it feels in your mouth.

I love capellini also known as angel hair. It's thin and easy to wind around a fork,it also soaks up all the yummy sauce. I love it best drenched in garlic butter and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese,chopped fresh parsley,salt and pepper.

this is a toughy, so i have to pick two if thats alright.

I like Fettuccine - cause it's long, and sauce sticks to it pretty good.

Tortelline - cause it's just a fun looking little pasta

I like fettucini Alfredo because of the rich, cheesy sauce. I also like that super thin spaghetti -- I forget what it's called -- with either the classic tomato sauce, or with hamburger added, and topped with parmesan cheese. Ravioli is also one of my favorites.

Spaghetti putanesca. It is mildly spicy with capers onions and tomatoes. For me a great combination..

fettuccine Alfredo, so yummy, you can add mini shrimps in it for extra yummyness! I just like the taste a lot!
