You should be safe eating it straight out of the can. It's cooked in the can.
People are afraid about food poisoning or grossed out by cold canned foods. You know how some canned foods have little clumps of grease when you open the can.

Not dangerous but not the "best flavor" you can experience from the product. The manufacturer does intend the product to be heated although it is fully cooked the flavors will improve with the addition of heat. People who think it is gross or yucky have just learned that warming it is tastier. You can eat most any food that is canned directly from the can it may not be the tastiest option but it won't hurt you. good luck!

I have NEVER cooked my spaghettios, ever, and I am 31. I love them out of the can or poured in a bowl. I really love them out of the refrigerator (that cold). I have never gotten sick from them. They are already cooked and taste awful warm.

have you considered the possibility that people also view it as gross and yucky when you heat the product according to package directions as well??
I can't tell how old you are, but if you are old enough to safely boil water on a range you can make some pretty good pasta and sauce combos with just a little effort

Not really. It's just like eating anything else that's raw. People find "gross" only because you are usually supposed to microwave it.

As you say, it's already fully cooked...
Microwaving it only heats it up.. it does not further cook it..
We normally heat it up, because that's been our lifelong experience - to eat warm / hot spaghetti.. but in fact, cold spaghetti is very tasty.
I often enjoy it that way.

It's not dangerous, it's just not something that most people would do. That's like, my favorite sandwich is peanut butter and bologna, but people say "Ewww".
You just go on and eat your food the way you like it and don't worry about the rest of the world.
If you were rich, people would say you were eccentric, but they would accept you as you are. (Just cuz you got money)

No it's not dangerous.
My son does it all the time.
I think it's gross because unheated the fats are solid and it leaves a weird film on my teeth and mouth. I like it much better heated!

They're safe, but it does seem a little gross to me too. But, everyone's different, I had a college roommate freshman year who loved cold canned green beans and sometimes dipped her oreos in water when we had no milk.
