Do you think that the food from dollar stores is of a lesser quality than that of a grocery store?

I had some coke once from Family Dollar and it just didn't seem to taste the same, also the Family Dollar brand cheese puffs made me sick in the stomach.

Is ot ok to freeze vegetables?

Such as onions, tomatoes, and peppers? They are in freezer bags. Will they still have all the nutirents? Will they still taste fresh?

What's your favorite chocolate bar?

I really like Snicker's, especially when you keep them in the refrigerator. Next to that, I like Baby Ruth and Hershey's with Almonds. M&M peanuts are also very good.
What's your favorite choco bar? Why? What memories does it evoke?
For me, it's Halloween, when I was a kid. Snicker's bring me right back...feels like I'm a kid on Halloween night, you know.

Is everything in my freezer ruined now?

My 4 year old was playing with the temp. control knobs yesterday i assume around 5pm. he turned the freezer one as low as it would go so it was practically turned off. i noticed everything seemed warm around 9pm but didnt check. the next morning around 9am everything was thawed out. the hamburger meat, chicken, bologna, and frozen dinners etc. i turned it back on and everything is now frooze back again.

but is it ok to eat? i remember my mom telling me to never freeze meat - unthaw it - refreeze it - unthaw it and eat it. how true is that? and is it still good to eat?

what wine goes with anchovies(fresh) I love the taste of anchovies but the flavour is very strong?

I tried Chablis and Sauvignon to try and cut thru the intensity but the fish just keeps on coming! thanks for any advice.

greens to use in sandwiches besides lettuce?

i currently use green lettuce(curlier and darker than regular head lettuce). it's too delicate and wilts away so fast. i want to use a stronger, darker, healthier green but i don't know what would taste normal in a sandwich.

Why did I buy and Orange from South Africa...in Chicago?

I went to the local grocery store and bought fruit ...when I got a look at the sticker it was Stamped South Africa...why are we getting fruit from africa when Flroida and California are right here?? Aren't they diseases that come from that area from tesy flys and what not...how/why did this get imported to Illinois?

Why do some people only use an extremely light amount of dressing on their salad?

Salad is so dry if you only put a small amount of dressing on it. You don't taste anything but leaves.
