The other day, I found an old cornbread wedge skillet. It had been packed away for more than 20 years, and was not properly seasoned before it was packed away. When I found it, it was covered in rust.

My question is this. How can I get the rust out, especially in the points of the wedges, so that I can season it and make use of it?

I really like cooking with cast iron, but I'm afraid this one might be beyond salvation.

I only like melted ice cream & popsicles, I think if theyre not melted it has no flavor and just tastes like ice. So I always put it in the microwave for 10 seconds. I cannot be the only person like that...

My work shoes are KILLING my feet and I work about 7-10 hour shifts at work, so I'm pretty much standing all day!!!! I really need you guys to help me. People at work tell me to Dr. Scholl's insoles for my shoes and I think it's a good idea because I already got work shoes that are slip-resistant, I just DESPERATLY need COMFORT in my shoes but some say insoles aren't that great and they think I should get a new pair of Reebok from Academy.

** What is your opinion on which I should chose or even a suggestion of a different brand maybe????

** Speak you mind please I'm all ears!!!

Vanilla beans are brown. Vanilla extract is brown. Yet for some reason vanilla ice cream is white. Shouldn't we dye this food like we do with other foods? I don't like that natural whiteness that comes from the milk ingredients. I think vanilla ice cream should be brown, to emphasize the vanilla part. Otherwise it just looks plain, and un-vanilla-y.

I'm packing my boyfriend a lunch for his exams on wednessday, and I want to pack him a cute lunch.
He likes just about everything except cheese.

Any cute snack I could pack to make him smile?
This is probably a weird question so I dont think I'll get many answers. Haha.

I currently drink Folgers French Roast...and I am so sick of it!
I am looking for the best store bought ground coffee to get. I don't want to ground my own; too messy and time consuming for a single gal like me. Also, I am looking for a coffee that will be available at the grocery store, not only found at a special coffee house or something...
So, what's your favorite coffee for morning??

I like Organic foods but I don't like that Supermarkets like Safeway, Giant, Bloom, Weis and others charge twice as much and sometimes even more for the Organic foods than the foods that are filled with chemicals and perservatives. Why?
The companies that want people to buy Organic and yet they have the prices cost more discourages people especially the poor from buying them. So what is Organic food only for rich people? Because in the long run they're the only ones who can really afford it.

Three Dog Bakery will not respond to emails and I have many pouches that I hate to give to my little one nor want to throw them away. When these pouches are frozen, the puffiness leaves, when room-warmed, they become quite puffy. There does appear to be a strong odor. Could be my fears.
