I am looking to buy sugar cane - not cane sugar or refined sugar or raw sugar - but the WHOLE STALK. I had some over in Uganda last year, and have done many Google searches to try and find a place to buy some. The searches have not been very successful. Many of the sellers are from over seas. Any ideas? You'd think there would be a U.S. distributor of some kind.

please can anyone tell me some of the branded yogurts that contain lactose, I thought most yogurts do contain it, up until a few days ago when someone said that no yogurts contain lactose. which i know isnt true, but i would like to hear from u . all answers would be really appreciated. thankk you :)

I've been drinking a lot of soda and Gatorade lately, and it has been damaging my teeth because of all the sugar.

My dentist said I shouldn't drink anymore of that, so I'm wondering what some of the best brands of flavored water are. I hear Fruit 2o is, but I'd like some other opinions. Thanks.

My understanding is that if meat has gone off it will make you bad (i,e give you food poisoning)! But apparently bringing foods to boiling point or a higher temperature if frying, kills all bacteria and harmful germs! Then in theory(i would'nt ever try it by the way) if i was to cook a piece of rancid meat or fish untill it was very well done and very hot would it still make me ill!

I am doing a presentation on California cuisine... For brownie points I want to have food for people to try while listening to my presentaion but I want something that is clasically Cali, now the presentation is in the morning. Why do Super- markets,or grocery stores ALWAYS use
"TRICK" advertizing. For ex..............
"special" 10 for $10 ... 5oz.bag chips ( when the regular price
is $ 1.10 ea.)
Do they want you to buy 10 bags
instead of 1 or 2 or 3 ?
Why can't they just say Save $.10 chips $1 bag ?
