Everyone talks about how Rachael Ray is "annoying" but OMG...THIS woman is SO MUCH WORSE (to me)! Does she HAVE to show her horse teeth smile after EVERYTHING she says? Does she have to add freshly grated Parmesan to EVERYTHING? Does she have to explain that you have to clean the BACK of your micro-plane EVERYTIME you zest something? DAD-GUM she irks me...anyone else feel this way?
Oh yeah, and Barefoot Contesa w/her Man Hands and the way she says 'fabulous' at LEAST 5 times during each show with her 'paid / fake' friends eating supper w/her in the Hamptons...UGH!

I have some food in my cupboard that is anything from a few months "out of date" to several years.

Is some of that food safe to eat?

For example there are a number of dehydrated foods such as pasta with suace (well powder anyway), also noodles and even powdered desserts. Sureley they would have a much longer "shelf life"?

And are there any foods which are particularly dangerous to eat beyond their best before dates?

I am a strong, independent woman who has her own career. I try to juggle my work-life balance perfectly, yet I was mortified to discover that I had inadvertently sent my lovely fiance off to work with mouldy bread. Is my reputation in tatters?

I'm European and new to the whole peanut butter thing. I thought it was only as sandwich spread, but a friend tells me she eats it from the jar. Is this normal?
What other ways are there to eat peanut butter besides sandwiches?
