How are hot dog buns cut?

I mean: if you take a layer of buns out of the package there are 4 of them. Each one is split (or sliced) part way through, but there is a bit of bread attaching all of them together, and the slices are all in the same direction. I can see a knife or blade slicing the end ones part way through (but the slices would be in opposite directions) how do they get at the middle ones.

Did that make any sense?

Mine has to be a giant toblerone which I downed in one when I used to be a bit greedy and a bit (ahem!) fat! I had to lie down cos I was scared I might die from a sugar overdose! I'm better now though, thanks. Also I've lost over 7 stone.

I love brown sauce, love it on chips, sausage, all over my sunday morning fry up oh and you can't beat it on a bacon roll......mmm its just much nicer than red sauce spicier i guess.......whats your view?
