Please tell me how long raw chicken is good for, and also how long it's good after I've baked it. I bought several pounds because it's a major staple in my diet, but I'm afraid it won't thaw out in time to prepare for lunch/work if I freeze it. Also, please include where you got your information from! I've seen a lot of variations, from 2 days to a week. I like the sound of a week, but I don't want to get sick, either. Thanks a lot.

It isn't exactly junkfood. But it is good, when you can get it. Though not all brands are generally *good to eat. Some look palatable, but are pretty nasty once you open the package. The worst is the reconstituted ones.

I'm making a fancy dinner for my parent's aniversary, so what goes well with steak and spinach pinwheels? Basically its made with steak, spinach, cheese and bacon, all rolled up, and cut into slivers in a way that looks like a pinwheel.

Does anybody have any idea of what to pair with it as far as side dishes and dessert? I just went peach picking today, and was thinking about using some of those, but I'm not sure if that works well with steak.

Assuming that it is bought from new stock at the store, and kept at room temperature (pantry) will it last longer than the date imprinted on the can? Some cans don't have a best by date!

the expiration date isnt till Sept 6th, and its honey turkey, but it feels slimey. Is it suppose to feel like this??? It smells ok, and tastes ok, kinda funny but I think thats because I have honey turkey mixxed with mayo... on a sandwich.. Does anyone know if its bad since its slimey. Lemme know please. thanks

OK guys around the globe, here we have it, I order Fish and Chips with Scraps, my Husband insists they are called Bits, I want a vote on this to solve the on going battle against me and him, let me know what you call them, PLEASSSSSSSE. are they:-

I got pork chops out of our freezer last night and put them in the sink to thaw out. (Our refrigerater is so cold nothing will thaw in there.) So, I remember this afternoon that they are still in the sink. Are they still okay to cook and eat or should we throw them out?????
