Chicken nuggets are usually made of, or should be made of white meat chicken. Sometimes they will put some dark meat in the nuggets, but the main ingredient in chicken nuggets is chicken.

Chicken nuggets use to be very chewy because they were made of blended chicken parts (white meat and dark meat). Now most chicken nuggets are made from minced white meat (breast), so they are more tender.
